Star Light Star Bright

When was the last time you made a wish for Santa Clause to fulfill?  Probably a really long time ago I imagine.  So when did you last make a wish in general?  Why or why not?  Do you think it’s only for the fairy tales?  I think not.

Today I have included a most heart warming video.  I cried and cried.  No surprise there.  🙂  I believe this demonstrates to us the power of believing, the power of hoping, the power of wishing, and the power of holding intention.

I believe that if we all got a lot more magical and fairly-taleish in our thinking, feeling and living, then we would see so many more amazing manifestations.

We’ve become so practical.  How come?

We’ve become so predictable.  For what purpose?

We’ve become so polished.  To what end?

One of my favorite quotes of Jesus is from Matthew 18:3.  “Jesus called a little child to his side and set him on his feet in the middle of them all. “Believe me,” he said, “unless you change your whole outlook and become like little children you will never enter the kingdom of Heaven.”

Perhaps this season we can make a change.  No, more like start a revolution that will endure for all days.  Perhaps it’s time to lay aside practical, predictable and polished in order to allow our dreams, wishes, and rockets of desire to come to the forefront.

Don’t get rid of the three p’s altogether….no, they serve a purpose for sure, but let’s just let them drift to the rear so that the mystical and magical can take their place.

I love the wonder of Disneyland, ever been?  I love the feeling I get when I watch the parade and see all those famous “characters” sing and dance.  If you’ve ever been there and watched the little children, they are completely captivated.  It’s as if they are watching the real thing.  Well maybe they are!  They don’t know the difference—to them it is the REAL Cinderella, the REAL Prince Charming.  They haven’t learned to be cynical, to be practical, to filter with a “reality check.”

I want to be more like that.  And the reason is is that childlikeness and unreserved wonder heal us.  These attitudes and ways of seeing the world transform us.  Truly they do.  Fairly dust and star beams point the way for us to fully live as the creators that we are.  We really can participate with the Universe in faith, trust, energy, and action such that our dreams manifest.

We really can live in the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.

Please watch this video and allow the message to illuminate the places in your heart that need to be revived to wonder.

Isn’t this season all about Wonder?

Go outside tonight and wish upon a star.

Grateful for you,

Julie
