I hope this week’s post finds you well. I hope it brings with it peace and a sense of well-being for you.
In fact, before we go any further, take a moment right now and just breathe. Just a moment. You might even want to close your eyes and breathe in and out slowly and deeply. Let go of any stress in your body, any stress in your mind. Let go of any concern or confusion…with each exhale feel your body just calming and letting go.
Isn’t that nice? Isn’t it nice to just “stop” in the middle of what you are doing and “be”, even if just for 30-60 seconds? What’s really cool is how this little bit of breathing activates our parasympathetic nervous system and sends endorphins throughout our body which make us feel good and more restful.
What I want to say to you today is that you are doing really well. You are. I just know it. And I believe it’s important for you to know this.
I feel like it’s just so easy to hear other kinds of messages in our culture and from people we interact with, perhaps even from the people closest to us, perhaps even from ourselves.
Do any of these messages sound familiar? You might not hear these exact words but perhaps you hear this underlying message:
“You should work harder.”
“You aren’t successful enough.”
“What is wrong with you?”
“You are too young.” Or “You are too old.”
“You’ll never make it, you’ll never get there, no matter how hard you try.”
“God is disappointed in you.”
“You just can’t get it right…you’ll never measure up.”
“If only you were smarter, prettier, more intelligent, more together, this all wouldn’t be happening.”
“The people in your life need you so put your own needs aside for them.”
Those are just the ones right off the top of my head….I could easily keep going for quite awhile.
Sadly, because of fear mainly, we choose to receive messages like the above as if they are true about us.
Isn’t it time we stop the madness? Isn’t it time we grow up and decide that what God says about us is the only thing that matters?
And you know what? When those closest to us “hurt us”, that is so their deal anyway. Have you ever really thought about that? When potentially hurtful things come at us from someone we care about, it’s because that other person is most likely missing the way of love…it’s their miss, their pain, their fear…and you just happen to be the one in relationship with them at the moment.
So today I want to encourage us all to step up….to step up and out of untruth. To step up and out of the illusion of fear and step right on into the reality of Love. You are loved. You are conceived in Love and your life continues in Love.
The Course in Miracles says that only the love you have given and the love you have received is real, everything else is an illusion.
The message that is resonating through the whole Universe for you today is this:
You are amazing!
You are remarkable!
You are stunning and handsome and beautiful!
You are doing so well.
You are pleasing.
When you live in love you are vibrant with light.
You are forgiven.
You are free.
You are powerful.
You have everything you need to live an abundant life.
If you are hearing anything other than the above then it’s time to tune up your hearing. Are you willing to surrender the illusions? Are you willing to give up the story you have chosen to live in about yourself?
I feel this message so urgently today. The days we are living in on planet earth are unlike any other. There is provision to evolve! I invite you today to surrender your thoughts to God in a new way and expect a miracle!
“God’s Universe is itself one big loving intention, and when you align your own intentions with His, you set in motion a kind of wind at your back.”
Peace and Blessings,
